Even though we won't be seeing many tulips for a while, I thought I'd post this cheery picture to brighten your day.

I also felt the bright pair was appropriate as Lanora Mangano has graciously interviewed me today for her blog post, LaNora's Lanotes.

Lanora has been a resourceful mentor throughout my writing journey. I can't thank her enough for her guidance. I have found that while writing is a solitary struggle between you and the keyboard every day, it is equally important to establish relationships with those who believe in what you are writing and support you along the way. Please visit her blog:

Thanks again, LaNora. Looking forward to your new release in March- Love Over Troubled Waters.

Well I didn't get any writing done this weekend, but I do have a nice new wood floor in our master bedroom closet. If it took two days to do this small square, I can only imagine how long it will take to do our master bedroom floor. Can you tell I like to read just a little bit?

In celebration of my web-site build, I visited Rene's Bakery this morning. How else would I celebrate, but by eating yummy pastries. I also visited Perk-Up and learned the difference between a latte and a cappuccino. The helpful fella made me realize I should have been ordering lattes all along. He even added a pretty leaf to my to-go cup. I thought the pastry looked especially tasty adorning up my polish pottery. I need a mug with a moose though. I have a polish pottery ornament with moose. Another trip to Monticello, IL is obviously in order.
